How Can I Maximize My Attendance?

We often get asked : Am I Ready? How Should I Prepare? This section addresses some of the most common questions we're asked.

  • Question : Am I Ready? What Experience Level Do I Need To Be?
  • Answer : You are ready exactly as you are. No preparation is necessary.
  • Question : Do I Need to Be a Good Swimmer?
  • Answer : No. Group sizes are kept small so we can tailor the workout to your level. Even those who are unable to swim have enjoyed and gotten massive benefit.
  • Question : What if I'm nervous about the pool? The ice? Personal Development Work?
  • Answer : The spirit of the event is challenging and supportive. We will challenge you to elevate from whatever level you're at and support your decision to abstain from any part of the event you choose.
  • Question : What Should Eat the Day Of?
  • Answer : Eat a satisfying, nutritious breakfast before coming. You will have 1 - 2 hours from arrival to digest before you begin movement in the pool.
  • Question : What Do I Need To Bring?
  • Answer : Not much. A full checklist will be sent before the event. Generally speaking, comfortable workout clothes, a swimsuit, and a water bottle. Sunscreen is optional but recommended.

You’ll enjoy delicious, healthy food. Meals consist of lean meats, fish, vegetables, legumes, fruits, nuts etc.  Vegetarian / Vegan requests are accommodated as best as possible.
